Sheffield Policy Campus Event with DfE and DWP – A Day in the Life, 13.00 – 17.00
Careers and Employability Hub Level 2 - Owen Building, City Campus
Owen Building, City Campus Sheffield, South Yorkshire, England, United Kingdom
Would you like a career where you can influence and support how public services are run?
The Civil Service supports the Government of the day in developing and implementing its policies and delivering public services.
Last year the Sheffield Department for Education (DfE) developed a collaborative cross-government approach with other Civil Service regional offices (DWP & Home Office) to form the ‘Sheffield Policy Campus.’ The aim: to create and grow a hub of core policy-related jobs, where people can advance their careers in key-decision making positions whilst staying in the Sheffield region.
This is a perfect session for you to learn more about the Civil Service and Sheffield Policy Campus and how policy helps to shape key decisions which affect the whole country.
