Every sector and every organisation depends on its financial infrastructure, meaning that a specialism in working with money can take you in any direction you want to go in. Public sector organisations, big established commercial companies, start-ups, charities, freelancers and everyone else needs people to manage its finances, accounting, insurance, risk management, tax, audit and banking, whether those functions are held in-house or outsourced. Personal and consumer finance is also an option for people who understand money and have the skills to explain it in simple and engaging ways to non-experts. People with expertise or professional qualifications in finance therefore have a broad range of options open to them.
