Oil and Gas Corrosion Ltd is a growing materials consultancy company based in Sheffield. They provide expert advice to the oil and gas industry to meet regulatory compliance, assure business continuity and optimise expenditure by managing the risks associated with materials and corrosion.

Brad Healey started off as an intern at Oil and Gas Corrosion Ltd. He continued to work for Oil and Gas Corrosion Ltd during the final year of his MEng Chemical Engineering degree at Sheffield Hallam before joining as a process engineer after graduation. 

He says

“Each intern brings a unique skillset to help us with our projects, and perhaps most importantly for our small team, a unique personality. We are proud to complete each internship in a way that not only provides us with great work but also with great friends too. This summer was quite different as our interns worked from home, meaning their work, along with the personal and working relationships, were developed online. 

We were delighted to offer graduates the opportunity to take their first steps into their careers and provide them with work experience, which is increasingly important in the current job market. We were equally pleased to have them support us in our projects, making important contributions from day one. Online internships are definitely something we would consider again, especially in the current climate.”
