Whether you develop software or work with complex digital resources, quality assurance can be an issue. The risk of poor-quality processes can mean loss of resources, duplicated efforts, redundant code, and difficulties with onboarding. Within this short course, you will learn to assess and evaluate your software quality processes, judge their effectiveness, and implement industry best practices. Additionally, it will help you identify what immediate improvements need to be made and ensure that you are working towards ISO standards compliance.

The sessions will involve a mix of practical exercises and strategic thinking to help develop competencies, relevant to software development, quality assurance and risk management. This will help consistently build higher quality solutions and optimise resource allocations.

Pre-requisites:
There is no specific technology requirement or focus for this course. However, you are expected to have experience of interacting with, or working in a software development team.
To qualify for this course, you must be employed in South Yorkshire.

Who should attend?
Anyone that has an interest in the development of their software quality and testing practices, skills and knowledge should find this short course valuable. It will enable you to understand and outline areas of improvement or critical success factors within your business or employment, in relation to quality and testing.
