With 25 years of European Glial meetings, this year’s meeting took place in Porto, Portugal between 10-13th July.

Senior Lecturer Liz Allen, post-doctoral researcher Rachel Hodgson and PhD student Filipe Hanson attended presenting a poster entitled ‘Investigating the role of the delta subunit of elF2B during stress and disease’.

More than two decades after the first meeting being held in Heidelberg, the European Glial Meeting has become the largest and most important international scientific reunion in glia biology in health and disease in the world.
