We caught up with recent graduate, Matt Dowley, about how his international placement helped him kick-start his career and how he’s now working with the University to create similar opportunities for the next generation of Hallam graduates.

At Sheffield Hallam we help students become work-ready by providing an environment which enables them to put their learning into practice. The coronavirus pandemic has made this difficult but thanks to our alumni and supporter community we have been able to continue enriching our student’s learning virtually.

Sheffield Hallam alumni are mentoring students currently involved with the Sunride rocket project, a collaboration between Sheffield’s two universities with the goal of making their mark in amateur rocketry.
