Staff conquer half marathon for Hallam Fund
Back in April this year, 35 Sheffield Hallam University staff laced up their running shoes to tackle the gruelling Sheffield Half Marathon to raise money for the Hallam Fund.
They succeeded in bringing in nearly £4,000 for students from care backgrounds, estranged from their families, and young carers.
The money raised will give students from disadvantaged backgrounds the security and recognition to make the most of what university can offer, regardless of their personal circumstances.
This is the second year that Sheffield Hallam staff have shown their support for the Hallam Fund by running the Sheffield Half Marathon. Here's hoping next year's team will be bigger, better, faster and stronger!
