Conference for the Indian Association of Physiotherapists

Date: From Friday 16 March 2012 to Sunday 18 March 2012
Time: 12.00 AM to 12.00 AM

The 50th conference for the Indian Association of Physiotherapists was held in New Delhi, India. This conference is held every year and we have been participating in it for the last three years.

The association is run by passionate physiotherapists based in India. The conference provides a platform for researchers, clinicians and academicians in physiotherapy to nourish and enhance their knowledge and evidence in physiotherapy practice.

The South Asia Office of Sheffield Hallam University had a stall to promote health and sport courses. They were joined by 2006 graduate Dr Nauka Shah who is currently working with a well known hospital in Mumbai after completing her Masters in Applying Physiotherapy with us.

The conference was a mix of presentations and exhibitions from more than 15 companies dealing in the latest physiotherapy equipments.

For more information about this conference and how you can get involved next year, please contact the South Asia Office at southasia@shu.ac.uk
