Centre for Sport and Exercise Science (CSES)
The Centre for Sport and Exercise Science (CSES) boasts one of the largest physical activity and sport-related portfolios of research expertise in the UK, if not Europe. It has a wide range of clients from the public and private sector, and operates across three main disciplines Sport and exercise science, physical activity and health and Wellness.
Centre for Sports Engineering Research (CSER)
The Centre for Sports Engineering Research (CSER) is an internationally renowned centre of excellence for research and consultancy, with over 140 years of cumulative experience. It focuses on developing fundamental understanding of the complex sporting environment and the creation of new innovative technologies.
The centre undertakes research and consultancy for a diverse range of sports companies and sport organisations including the International Tennis Federation, Adidas, Prince, Puma and UK Sport.
Sport Industry Research Centre
The main focus of the Sport Industry Research Centre's (SIRC) work is the use of applied economic techniques to solve the specific research requirements of our clients and to generate new knowledge about the sport and leisure industries. In the last year, SIRC has completed research assignments for all four home nation Sports Councils as well as for UK Sport.
