Bigger Flower 

International student Wenxin Deng graduated in 2018 with a Masters in Interior Design, and immediately launched Bigger Flower, an online florist and gifting platform that primarily but not exclusively caters for the Chinese market. 

Bigger Flower sells a range of products across the UK from bespoke designed wedding table displays, bridal bouquets and gift bouquets to gift packages celebrating national festivals and other family events. The real uniqueness of the Bigger Flower products is that many of the designs combine Asian style flower/food based arrangements. 

Since setting up her business, Wenxin has successfully built up key collaborative partnerships with a range of suppliers, including delivery company Hungry Panda and international flower delivery service, Xiaoman. 

Wenxin plans to expand her business across the UK and in particular, establishing Bigger Flower as a main provider of flower arrangements for the wedding market. She also exhibitis at major trade fairs across the UK. 


Blink Vivid Video

MA Filmmaking graduates Will Wade, Aidan Joseph and Joe Gist incorporated Blink Vivid Video. They are a bespoke creative video production company with a passion for art, culture and social change with a vision to make a difference to local, national and international communities.

Their video product offering is broad with a specialist focus on music, commercial, documentary and fiction content. They have also recently launched a new documentary series that aims to capture and showcase obscure and fascinating people. The first episode features Nathaniel, a homeless man living in Sheffield with a dream of becoming a Hip-Hop MC.


Bullion Chocolate


Max Scotford initially completed his Events Management degree in 2014 and went on to create Bullion Chocolate, Yorkshire’s first craft chocolate company. Bullion sells a range of decadent treats from chocolate bars, cookies and brownies.

Bullion Chocolate won the 2017 Sheffield Hallam Enterprise Awards and received incredible support from the SHU Enterprise Team. The business has also been featured in Vogue twice with their products being sold online and in high-end retailers such as Harvey Nichols.

Fula Flavour 

Hawa Soh is a Business and Human Resource Management graduate. Her business, Fula Flavour was set up in 2017, and sells a variety of special chillie sauce blends based on recipes from her homeland in Guinea, West Africa, that have been used in traditional Guinean ingredients for generations. 

Since the establishment of her business, Fula Flavour has gone from strength to strength. Fula Flavour was among the winners at the Great Tate Awards 2019. 


Harvey Morton Digital

Harvey Morton studied Business and Enterprise Management and received support from the Enterprise Team to grow his digital agency, Harvey Morton Digital. The company offers a range of bespoke IT services inclusive of social media management, web design and media production.

Initially starting the business when he was just fifteen, Harvey loves to assist brands in the development of strong digital strategies. As the business developed, he was later named as the 2018 Young Freelancer of the Year by IPSE, the Association of Independent Professionals and the Self-Employed.


Nelly Naylor Photography

Nelly Naylor completed her Photography degree in 2014 and later created Nelly Naylor Photography. Nelly is an award-winning photographer offering a range of services and packages with a specialist focus on same-sex weddings.

Nelly impressed at the 2017 Sheffield Hallam Enterprise Awards and won funding from Santander UK to support her business. Nelly continues to inspire us with colourful photography.


Willustration

Will Rea graduated from his Illustration degree in 2019 and went on to create Willustration. Through his work, Will has become a well-known freelance illustrator and muralist within the Sheffield community.

Will offers a range of different services including painting murals, designing posters, spot illustrations and animated music videos. He specialises in bringing any creative idea to life and you may have seen his murals in iconic places around the city such as Orchard Square Shopping Centre and The Leadmill Club.
