Summary
I began work as a site Joiner/carpenter before progressing to site management. My industrial experience spans housing and private commercial developments. I achieved a Master's qualification in Sustainable Architecture in 2008 and have taught at Hallam since September 2017.
About
Wayne is a Chartered Construction Manager and Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB); a Chartered Building Engineer and Fellow of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (FCABE). He is currently the external examiner for BSc Hons Construction Management degree courses and a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA)

Teaching
I teach primarily on the undergraduate Built Environment programme and lead the following modules: Evaluating Construction Technology and Resource Evaluation; At Postgraduate level I lead on the Sustainable Building Technology module. I teach on numerous other modules and supervise undergraduate and Masters dissertations. As Collaborative Course Leader I am responsible for the collaborative provision of the FdSc and BSc Hons in Building Engineering and Project Management courses.
