About
My focus is on creating new ways to tell stories, whether that’s through text, hypertext, or immersive digital worlds. My previous work includes speculative fiction novels, immersive narrative projects both physical and digital, and videogame design. Projects include collaborations with the British Library on immersive fiction adaptation, and working with heritage scholar on digital interpretation of historical narratives.
My academic background includes a bachelor’s degree in Computer Animation, and I hold Masters degrees in Creative Writing and Games Design. I’ve developed games projects independently and commercially using a range of platforms and media.

Research
My research interests centre around using games design practice to tell truly interactive stories. Current projects involve research into the way players engage with interactive characters in virtual worlds.
