About

I am a curator and artist. I organise staff, student and professional exhibitions at Sheffield Hallam University and online, across a wide range of creative disciplines. Personal highlights include David Mellor: Steel and Light (2013), Going Public: The DSL Collection (2015), Charles Atlas (2016), Life in Glass: The Swedish Glass Design of Ernest Gordon Adsetts (2016) Hideki Nakajima: Made in Japan (2019), Peter Barber: 100 Mile City in Sheffield (2019). I previously edited art and design content for the website Intute at Manchester Metropolitan University and have worked at Cornerhouse and Milton Keynes galleries. In my artistic practice I have exhibited in the UK and internationally, including at the Henry Moore Institute, Leeds, Aspex, Portsmouth, John Hansard Gallery, Southampton, University of Oxford Botanic Gardens and The Cable Factory, Helsinki. My doctoral research is exploring the representation of place in the designed landscape at Park Hill Flats, Sheffield.
