Summary
After nineteen years' experience teaching in secondary schools, Teresa joined Sheffield Hallam in early 2017 as a Lecturer of Physical Education. She is currently teaching on a number of modules across the BSc (Hons) Physical Education and School Sport undergraduate degree route and is currently in the process of gaining HEA Fellowship.
About
Teresa graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University with a BA (Hons) in Physical Education and a PGCE in Secondary Education. She has a wealth of experience in Secondary Education and has lead and managed various PE departments through her role as Subject Leader of PE and Director of Sport. Within these roles she particularly enjoyed mentoring ITT students and newly qualified teachers working towards gaining Qualified Teacher Status (QTS). Working closely with the course leader her knowledge of teaching and learning pedagogy helps to ensure that students have a high quality learning experience with us here at Hallam.
