Steffi Davey
Researcher (Interactive Design)
Summary
I am a graduate of Sheffield Hallam University, with a Bsc in Interactive Media with Animation. During my studies, I completed a placement year working alongside psychologists conducting research focused on the perception of actions in virtual environments. Following graduating I worked in the faculty of Health and Wellbeing developing interactive tools to train students, and later went on to work in industry as an e-learning developer before returning to research.
I am currently working as a researcher on the AUGGMED project within CENTRIC, looking into user interface design and human computer interaction in both 2D and immersive 3D environments.
I am particularly interested in technology enhanced learning and serious games.
