Summary
Setareh is currently a lecturer in cyber security at Sheffield Hallam University. She also holds the role of Academic Lead for Cyber Security projects at Digital Innovation For Growth (DIFG). She is actively involved as a cyber security consultant in advancing digital, striving to enhance Cyber Security awareness programs both of which receive funding from the European Union. Setareh's primary objective is to bridge the gap between academia and industry by effectively applying her expertise in this domain. She demonstrates her commitment by actively participating in various cyber security clusters and communities such as NEBRC, YCSC, and EMIC. She holds a master’s degree in cyber security from Sheffield Hallam University and a BSc in Computer engineering which gives her a solid foundation in cyber security. Her research focuses on the application of data mining in cyber security, information security management for SMEs, as well as testing, automating, and auditing of smart systems.
