Summary

I am currently a Senior Lecturer in Diagnostic Imaging. I have a broad range of experience in advanced practice, management, academia and publishing, have been a member of the SOR since 1985 and hold the title of Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy.

About

In clinical practice I gained a wide range of clinical and management experience. Undertaking the advanced practice of bladder pressure studies, lithotripsy, breast screening film reading and core biopsy. I also organised and participated in weekly multidisciplinary meetings for case reviews.

I have been involved in education from many different angles, from National Vocational Qualifications, and Higher Education from undergraduate to doctoral level. My doctoral project involved looking at the experiences and perceptions of newly qualified diagnostic radiographers. I have an interest in simulation and service user and carer engagement.
