About

Rosemary is a Principal Lecturer and Professional Lead for Sport, Communities and Enterprise within the Department of Sport at Sheffield Hallam University. Rosemary has a significant level of sport development experience, having previously worked for Sport England, the Sports Council for Wales, and a number of nationally recognised sport development agencies. Specialist areas of expertise are: sport and education, sports equity, social inclusion and contemporary sport development programmes.In addition, Rosemary has specific experience of sport media and information services at major national and international events, including the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, the 2006 Winter Olympic Games in Turin, the 2006 Asian Games in Doha, Qatar and the 2008 World Short Course Swimming Championships in Manchester, UK. Rosemary is currently seconded to London 2012 Media Office.
