Nicola Harrison is a Senior lecturer in Policing and Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University.

Nicola Harrison is a Senior lecturer in Policing and Criminology at Sheffield Hallam University. From 2004 to 2021 Nicola was a Police Officer who held various roles including response, roads policing and safeguarding and received commendations for a number of high profile investigations. In January 2022, Nicola joined Sheffield Hallam as a lecturer on the Police Constable Degree Apprenticeship, quickly establishing her academic career. Nicola currently leads modules in Criminology and Modern Slavery at level 4,5 and 6 and has an interest in Green Criminology. Nicola has recently been awarded AFHEA and is also studying for her Post Graduate Certificate for Teaching in Higher Education.
