About

I teach advanced engineering part and assembly modelling in CAD, detailed product performance analysis using FEA and technologies to rapidly bring new products to market. I am a champion for Knowledge Transfer Partnerships and actively support local engineering companies solve and develop solutions to challenging engineering problems.

I am currently supervising a PhD research student in the field of metal cutting in order to reduce and eliminate high shear stresses. I am also jointly supervising a Knowledge Transfer Partnership Associate in the area of compact flange design and optimisation.
