Summary
Lee's research interest is geared towards defining methods and promoting drawing as pedagogic tool for teaching and learning within the discipline of Visual Communication.
About
Recent research activity has included a conference and touring exhibition titled ‘Working Drawings’ which invited an international roster of designers, image makers and visual communicators to investigate drawing practice as part of a methodology for articulating and exploring thoughts, ideas and concepts.
Following on from the Working Drawings exhibition, he is currently researching drawings' cultural and historical relevance within graphic design and how does this inform the modern day design curriculum.
Drawing still continues to influence Lee's practice as an illustrator and this in turn continues to inform his teaching and research activity.
