My research interests focus on elite and non-league / semi-professional football. My publications are centred on player migration and opportunities, as well as the development of futsal. In September 2020, I presented research on work-life balance in semi-professional and amateur sport at the British Sociological Association Sport Study Group Postgraduate Virtual Forum. I am also a member of the Football Collective; a network of people dedicated to bringing critical debate to football.
