Dr Kym Atkinson
Lecturer in Criminology
Summary
I joined Sheffield Hallam as a Lecturer in Criminology in March 2021. My research is focused on gender, the state and sexual violence and I am particularly interested in the conceptualisation and theorisation of gendered harms. My doctoral thesis explored women students’ experiences of sexual violence at university and institutional responses to this violence.
