Summary
Before joining Sheffield Hallam University, I taught English for academic purposes and applied linguistics at Portsmouth University for ten years. For the previous 14 years, I lived and taught in Saudi Arabia, Russia, Taiwan, the USA and Israel.
About
I am an executive member of the British Association of Lecturers in English for Academic Purposes serving on the Testing Working Party and as publications officer. I am a registered practitioner of the HEA and am trained as an examiner for a variety of English language exams including IELTS.
