Summary
Since joining Sheffield Hallam University John has been course leader for the BA/MArt Digital Media Production and BA/MArt Games Design courses, as well as Departmental Head of Learning, Teaching and Assessment. He is currently a Principal Lecturer and International Business Developer where he is responsible for international recruitment and partnership development.
About
John studied BEng Software Engineering at the University of Sheffield and then completed an EPSRC sponsored MSc in Networked Information Engineering. He has worked in a number of organisations spanning software engineering, digital media design, IT and telecoms in Measurex, desq, Compal and Nortel. In 2002 he left the industry to work in academia and has since held lecturing positions at the University of Derby, University of Hertfordshire, Leeds Beckett University and Sheffield Hallam University, teaching and managing courses in multimedia.
