Jan Wojturski MRICS, FFB
Senior Lecturer in Quantity Surveying
Summary
I started my professional career as a PQS working in Nottingham. I progressed to become head of Sheffield Office for a nationwide Chartered Quantity Surveying practice.
About
I then moved over to the contracting side of my profession, becoming a director of a local Sheffield contractor.
In 1991, I formed my own contracting and consultancy company which I still run presently.
In September 2007, I joined Sheffield Hallam University as a senior lecturer, on a fractional contract. My main duties are teaching. I find that I can interact with students well and pass on the wealth of experience I have built up over the years in industry.
I deliver modules mainly in the Quantity Surveying sphere at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
My main subjects to date have been Measurement and Cost Studies.
Other activities
