Summary

Dr Ibrahim Orekoya joined Sheffield Business School as a Lecturer in Strategic Management in 2024. Prior to joining Sheffield Business School, he worked at Lancaster University Management School, UK, and Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University. Ibrahim is an Associate Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

About

Dr Orekoya holds a B.Sc. degree (First Class Honours) in Business Administration from Babcock University and an M.Sc. degree in Management from the University of Lagos. He received his PhD in Management from Lancaster University.

Ibrahim’s research interests are in the areas of entrepreneurship, strategy, innovation, sustainability, and leadership. His research has been presented at reputable conferences, namely: the British Academy of Management conference (BAM), and the Institute for Small Business and Entrepreneurship (ISBE). He has been a reviewer for internationally leading conferences in Business and Management, notably the Academy of Management (AOM), European Academy of Management (EURAM), British Academy of Management (BAM) and journals namely Journal of Organizational Effectiveness: People and Performance, and Leadership & Organization Development Journal, etc.
