Summary
I am a Research Fellow in Sheffield Institute of Education’s Centre for Research and Knowledge Exchange, adept at managing and contributing to varied large-scale projects, with advanced sector knowledge as an experienced qualified teacher and subject leader. My interests focus on professional development, curriculum innovation and literacy.
About
I am a Mixed Methods Research Fellow, and ESRC-funded doctoral researcher, who has worked as project manager and researcher on a range of projects. Prior to this, I worked as a primary-phase teacher and English subject leader, experience from which has informed my research interests and focus.
I have contributed to research and knowledge exchange projects funded by the Youth Endowment Fund, Wellcome, the Department for Education, and the Education and Training Foundation. I am currently undertaking a doctorate funded by the Economic and Social Research Council into teacher professional learning for curriculum innovation, which uses a realist methodological approach.
