Catherine has a passion for inspiring the next generation of construction professionals. She been teaching for the past 5 years in HE. Her work experience as a Project Manager and Project Engineer for a large multinational construction company enables her to provide link the academic theory to practical application.
About
After graduating with degree in Business Studies from The University of Sheffield Catherine secured her first role as a construction planner for Balfour Beatty, following on she was promoted to Project Engineer and Project Manager working with clients such as National Grid, Northern Powergrid, SSE and local authorities in the infrastructure network which delivered power and transmission projects. She has a proven track record of delivering and managing construction projects from conception to completion. Her work as Course Leader for Barratt Developments and delivery content on Undergraduate, Apprenticeships and Masters Courses.
