Summary

I am a research-active academic specialising in Social and Environmental Accounting and Reporting, with a decade of industry experience as a corporate reporting accountant. My professional journey sparked a deep interest in understanding the impact of accounting on society and on the environment. My research focuses on the role of accounting in promoting sustainable development, particularly in integrating social and environmental considerations into organisational decision-making and evaluating the effectiveness of sustainability reporting in fostering accountability.

I am a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy with solid experience teaching in higher education in the UK and I am passionate about Responsible Management Education.

I am the PRME Lead for Sheffield Business School and the Course Leader for MSc Accounting & Finance and MSc Forensic Accounting.
