Summary
Since qualifying as an Art Psychotherapist I have worked extensively with in the education system supporting young people and adults. My primary area of interested is working with children with additional needs that affect their engagement in education. These needs vary greatly, from neurodiversity, learning disabilities, grief, trauma, bullying, domestic violence, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, self esteem, anxiety, depression, genetic disorders and other mental health issues. I have spent time working closely with a variety of settings to establish art therapy services and ensure a consistent supportive approach is offered to those seeking support. Now as a senior lecturer I enjoying being able to share these skills with trainees.
