Summary
I have degrees in physics and electronics. I teach Professional Practice across all three years of the Physics course, along with Optics and Mathematics for Physicists.
Prior to arriving at Sheffield Hallam University, I was based at the National III-V Centre developing novel surface emitting laser structures. Outside of teaching roles, I am a member of the Higher Education Group within the IOP and am involved in outreach work aimed at widening participation in physics.
