Summary
Sameer has been the Chief Executive Officer of Zilico Limited since 2007. Zilico is a Venture Capital backed medical device technology company developing cancer diagnostics with its flagship product ZedScan, a diagnostic within the cervical cancer pathway.
His previous roles include CEO of Plasso Technology Ltd, now part of Becton Dickinson Inc (2003 - 2007) and held a management board position at Marconi PLC (1996 - 2002).
Sameer is a founding council member of the Bessemer Society which is a forum of CEO's, entrepreneurs and founders who are committed to creating new companies based on technological innovation in the fields of science and technology.
In addition, Sameer is a fellow of the Winston Churchill Memorial Trust and the British American Project. He is also an Executive in Residence at the Sheffield Business School and a Board Governor at Hunter's Bar Junior School. Sameer was also a Trustee of Surrogacy UK and sailed in the BT Global Challenge in 2001 from Sydney to Southampton.
