Summary

Matt Parkin joined Sheffield Hallam in 1999, gaining extensive experience in the University’s Finance Department before a career change saw him move to Student Support as Head of Student Funding in 2018. Matt also led on aspects of the University’s covid response during the pandemic.

His role means that he has a keen interest in all aspects of student support, especially those relating to financial barriers. A Sheffield native, Matt believes passionately in the mission of the University to transform lives locally, nationally and globally.
