Helping to track the value and usefulness of HE student financial support
For this initiative, data management staff at six universities worked to identify data fields that enabled them to better identify recipients of bursaries and scholarships so that institutions can better track their effectiveness.
The project involved the development and piloting of data gathering and student survey tools that can be used across the HE sector in order to discover the value and usefulness of financial support.
These tools were recommended for use by OFFA and around 100 HE institutions currently use them to evaluate the effectiveness of their financial support.
