Sheffield Hallam University recently hosted the Women in Tech Skills Exchange Event, a dynamic collaboration to foster growth, innovation, and inclusivity in the technology sector. Organised alongside the BCS South Yorkshire Branch and the Home Office Digital Data and Technology, the event brought together women from diverse tech backgrounds for an inspiring day of skill-sharing, networking, and community-building.
This vibrant gathering was about gaining technical know-how and creating a supportive environment where women could share experiences, exchange expertise, and forge connections that propel their careers forward. Whether attendees were exploring a career shift, seeking fresh perspectives, or looking to collaborate with others in the field, the event delivered a unique platform for professional and personal growth.
The program featured icebreaking sessions, networking, lightning presentations, and interactive sessions led by industry leaders. These sessions focused on practical insights and actionable strategies. It also provided ample opportunities to meet like-minded women from various sectors, fostering an invaluable sense of camaraderie and shared purpose.
"More Than a Skills Exchange"
