SHU Hosts Prestigious 20th Digital Forensics Teaching Workshop

Sheffield Hallam University was honoured to host the 20th Digital Forensics Teaching Workshop on November 27th, marking a significant milestone for this esteemed annual event. This was the first time SHU hosted the workshop, which has served as a foundation for academics and practitioners to collaborate and enhance their knowledge in the ever-evolving field of digital forensics.

The workshop provided an engaging platform for exchanging ideas, sharing best practices, and exploring innovative approaches to teaching digital forensics. Attendees had the opportunity to connect with experts, participate in insightful discussions, and gain valuable insights into this rapidly evolving field.

Sponsored by the British Computer Society (BCS), the event featured an impressive lineup of speakers from various institutions, including CENTRIC, the University of Warwick, Abertay University, Edinburgh Napier University, Birmingham City University, the University of Roehampton London, Keele University, HSBC, and Sheffield Hallam University.

The workshop highlighted SHU’s expanding role as an innovation hub for cybersecurity and digital forensics education. By uniting thought leaders and practitioners, it reaffirmed the university's dedication to shaping the future of this vital field.
