School of Computing and Digital Technologies

Our undergraduate, postgraduate, and degree apprenticeship courses cover subjects that are in demand by industry. Our main route courses include the opportunity to undertake a placement year, where students can work in industry for up to 12 months, practicing and developing their taught skills.

Many of our courses also embed live industry projects as part of the core teaching, where employers set challenges based on real-world problems they face, and work with students to find practical solutions.

Our focus on developing industry-ready and applied skills in our courses sees over 90% of our graduates in work of further study with an average starting salary of over £27k (2021/2 Graduate Outcomes Survey).

We also have excellent facilities and resources, including one of the best equipped PlayStation teaching labs in Europe for computer games development, and specialist cybersecurity, networking, and computer science labs.
