Research degrees

Research degrees

This includes collaborative research with industry, supported by different initiatives, or research which is centred on researchers' interests and the requirements of industry, the professions and other stakeholders.

Researchers may therefore be appointed based on research proposals that are seen to relate to the department and its supported research themes or as part of funded research through Knowledge Transfer Partnership, government and other external funding bodies and associations.

Applications can be made on-line with intakes normally in September and May each year. View further information
