If you are starting your course in 2024, or returning to level 5 and 6 you can click the below 'Find your schedule' button to access your course induction schedule through our online welcome guide.
You will be taken to a search page where you can type in your course title to find your course and level specific guide.
Once you have found your guide and looked at your induction schedule you are advised to check back before your course starts in case of any changes.
You must go to all the sessions on your schedule, unless you are genuinely unable to attend.
We are currently still uploading course welcome guides into the platform, if you cannot find your course welcome guide please check back. All guides will be uploaded by 2 September.
Your Course Welcome Guide is there to set you up for starting at Hallam. It will contain some of the following information:
Course introductions and Course Leader introductions
Your Course Induction Schedule, which is a series of sessions that will introduce you to your tutors, coursemates and learning spaces.
Pre-arrival activities (if required by your Course Leader)
Information about Academic Advising
Details of welcome week events held by the university and Students Union
A series of links and useful information to help prepare for your university journey
Some courses might have pre-arrival activities that are not shown on your welcome schedule. Check your Hallam and personal email accounts and Blackboard sites for additional pre-arrival tasks or information
Teaching timetables
Your Course Induction Schedule is just for your induction – it is not your full teaching timetable. Teaching timetables will be available on My Timetableahead of your course start.
