This month we’re hosting three ‘Spotlight’
events. One focuses on part-time jobs, another on Science,
Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM), and a third on
the digital and creative sector. All students are
encouraged to attend as there will be a range of roles on
offer.

Spiking someone’s drink is a serious crime and
will never be tolerated by the University. If you suspect your
drink has been spiked, tell the venue immediately. If you’ve been
spiked, report it to the police as soon as you can. To keep
as safe as you can:
- never leave your
drink unattended
- don’t accept a
drink from someone you don’t know
- stick together
with friends, and look out for each other
See the
Students' Union's statement.

We strongly encourage all students to get
fully-vaccinated. There are walk-in clinics across
Sheffield, or pre-bookable appointments at our medical
centre for students registered with Student Health.
