Hi students,
We’re back with another round-up of all that’s hot at Hallam.
|
The winners have been announced! Last month we held our first on-campus, all-college celebration of our inspirational students. The event, held across The Atrium and Hallam Hall, was a resounding success. |

We continue to transform our campus so you can experience new things and learn in new ways – all with a focus on sustainability, wellbeing and collaboration. Phase one includes a vibrant outdoor space at Sheaf Green! |

Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week – and this year’s theme is loneliness. In support, we’re raising awareness of the challenges many of us face, while providing practical steps we can all take to improve our wellbeing. |

The University and College Union (UCU) has announced that there could be further industrial action in the coming months. This is part of an ongoing national dispute which also affects other universities. We expect that next week, UCU will confirm the timing and details of planned action. Once confirmed, we will email you again with the dates and further information. As always, our main objective during any strike action is to minimise the impact on you and your studies as far as we can, and you can be assured that we are planning this carefully.

Spiking someone’s drink is a serious crime. If you suspect your drink has been spiked, tell the venue immediately. If you’ve been spiked, report it to the police as soon as you can. |
|
If you have symptoms or have tested positive for Covid-19, you must complete the University’s Covid-19 reporting form. |
