Hi
students
It’s
back to study for 2022! Here’s everything you need
to know in 8 quick clicks.
|
Last
week the government announced that there will be
a relaxation of Covid restrictions in England.
The University has also received updated
guidance from the Department of Education. This
outlines the need for universities to put in
place effective and appropriate Covid measures,
particularly in light of any local public health
needs.
The
situation within Sheffield for the number of
Covid cases remains high. So, for the time
being, our approach to safety on campus will
stay in place, to help us to protect our
community and help minimise transmission.
This
means you are expected to continue to wear a
face covering in all University buildings.
This includes all teaching settings such as
lectures, seminars, workshops, laboratories,
libraries and examinations (unless you are
exempt, or in specific academic settings where
alternative arrangements have been agreed).
We’ll
keep reviewing the situation and will continue
to keep you informed through email, social media
and our Covid-19
student guidance
website. | | |
Our
welcome activities are still underway, with
digital sessions, crafting workshops and even a
gardening group to enjoy this week. Check out
the event schedule and make the most of our
events. |
