We are Gold rated in the Teaching Excellence Framework (TEF) for the outstanding quality of our teaching and student outcomes
How does the past relate to the present? On our history courses you'll engage with the ideas and events that have shaped the modern world, with a particular focus on British, European and global history in the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. Learning from published experts, you'll explore a variety of theoretical perspectives and themes, including nationalism, imperialism, race, gender, orientalism, and globalisation.
